On Saturday, November 12, Rochester Regional Health announced that Constellation Brands President & CEO Robert Sands and the Sands family foundations, along with Constellation Brands, have made a $20M gift commitment in support of the construction of a new 312,000 square-foot building on the Rochester General Hospital campus. In recognition of this gift, the new building will be named the Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care. The transformative gift is the largest in the hospital’s history. It is also the lead gift in Rochester Regional’s newly announced system-wide $300 million comprehensive campaign. The campaign will be chaired by Sands, a current member of the Rochester Regional Health Board.
